Ernst Schütz was raised in Schweizer-Reneke in the North West Province and matriculated in 2011 from Highschool Schweizer Reneke. In 2012 Ernst started his studies at the North West School of Design in Klerksdorp and finished his 3 years with distinctions in 2014. After finishing his studies, he worked as a studio manager at Anel Botha Couture and started his label, Ernst Schütz Exclusive during this time.

Since then his achievements include lecturing at the North West School of Design, red carpet looks, teaming up with television productions and his work was also featured in celebrity photoshoots.
He is inspired by fashion houses like Versace and Elie Saab and also draw inspiration from vibrant colours, antiquity and textures.

His label creates one-of-a-kind exclusive couture and ready-to-wear garments.
